Chevy & Ford – American Made

Seeking high-quality cars made in the USA? Investment Auto has you covered.

The history of American-made cars starts with Ford. Henry Ford revolutionalized the automobile in 1903 and was the first American-based auto manufacturer. Henry Ford’s Model T put the world on wheels with a simple, affordable, durable car. As a result, Ford sold 15 million Model Ts before ceasing production in May 1927, making it one of the best-selling vehicles of all time. Ford’s beginnings are entwined with American history, and the legacy lives on through the Ford family. This American car company is a national icon, selling more F-150 pickup trucks than any other car. Unlike many car manufactures, Ford is still Americna made. Their owner says, “We are proud that Ford employs more hourly workers and builds more vehicles in the United States than any other automaker.” – Joe Hinrichs. It’s hard to imagine where we would be without the creativity and innovation of Ford. Fast forward to today, Ford is still producing unique, American-made cars. Find the Ford vehicle for you at Investment Auto.

The first original Chevrolet Model was the Series C Classic Six. The design was drawn up by Etienne Planch under the direction of Louis Chevrolet and released in 1913. It is now one of the most influential automotive companies in the world. The introduction of the six-cylinder engine pushed Ford further by making even better vehicles. In 1953, Chevrolet introduced the soon-to-be world-famous model, the Corvette. Soon after that released the first fuel-injected engine. The world was soon introduced to the Chevrolet Corvair, the first vehicle with a rear-mounted air-cooled engine.
