Chaz Messick was born in Ogden Utah in March of 1995. He was raised in Hooper, Utah, a small farming town near Ogden. He grew up loving the outdoors and sports. He has went hunting every year of his life since he was able to walk, and he has played football and basketball since the age of five. He attended Fremont High school, there he lettered in football twice. He started working at Investment Auto during his senior year as a lot technician, he would come in after school and on weekends. With his father, and uncle both in the automotive industry for over 20 years, working at a dealership came natural to Chaz. He graduated from Fremont in 2013 with an academic scholarship and moved down to St. George to attend Dixie State University, there he studied business administration. He transferred to Weber State University after his freshman year and moved back home, and continued to study business. He went back to work at the job he loved, Investment Auto, and went to school in the mornings. In 2016 he earned a position as a customer consultant at Investment Auto Group. He recently purchased a house just blocks from where he grew up, Roy Utah.
